Are the fenders on the race hood farther forward than the stock ones? I could use a little more knee room while racing and was wondering if the race hood gives the room or not.

just the pic i was looking for, lol

looks like thats on my list after front tires.

they do mount the same, but the fenders are farther forward, and mine are trimmed to almost nothing

you could trim the stock ones way back like the shee guys do so they're just nubs lol. i love my maier hood....lots of leg room

I geuss I was judging too quickly.. they deff sit more then an 1" forward..

Maybe 3.5" at the most..

The fenders on the race hood are farther forward . I have fender extensions on my race hood and i have more leg room than stock.

1st pix has stock hood and fenders
2nd pix has race hood with fender extensions

Look at the fender end to the pipe !

actually the new hoods require a couple brackets to be made to fit on the older frames. the frames DID change in 03 because they added the hydro brakes and the new hood/headlight

dont mean to thread jack but bronco what kind of tires are those they look awesome i need new tires so how do they perform also

The rear tires are Maxxis all trak and they are awesome they perform great in all surfaces. The front are Kenda front max they are OK I settled for them because the ones I wanted were out of stock.

The Wheels I used in the rear are 4/100 Douglas .190 10x8 with a 3.0 x5.0 offset, and they will make the rear wider, about 1" on each side.

yeah they sit way further forward.

it made it way more comfortable for me to ride mine.
but I still put stress marks on them from hitting my knees lol...
