Queston about piston

took off my head and I noticed the piston is pretty loose in the cylinder. You can here it clicking when you move it back and forth. the wall and piston look fine.

time for a new bore and piston.....u dont want the skirt to shatter on the piston from to much clearence

would this cause it to rev extremely high on its own?

It might cause an airleak and give you that problem.

Cause high revs is usually an airleak causing a lean condition.
