So u am finally in the process of putting my engine back together after a complete tear down for a complete rebuild on my bike. My first question is after I do my leak test and heat cycles, do I have to take it easy for the first tank when I did a day port n the bore didn't change n the piston is the same. Second do I have to hone or cross hatch the cylinder if I didn't change the bore size or the piston?

You only need to hone if your installing new rings. If your using the same piston and rings ,there's no. Real in needed. Just leak test and recheck bolts.
