If you take off the transmission oil cap you can see a gear through the little hole. After riding it should you be able to see oil on it?? What I'm having is when I'm going up through gears you really have to push hard to shift and like when I stop and say I'm in 4th gear it wont let me shift all the way to first, I have to go down one gear then move a little then go down another gear. I think I may not have any oil in my transmission.

yeah u should be able to see some thing .. if u are not sure if there is any thing in it just fire the quad up let it idle and take the cap off and shut it right off cause if there is oil in it it will start to run right out ...
I think I may just take the drain plug off and see if anything drains and refill. how much to I refill with?
LOL that don't tell a common man like me anything.... how many ounces would that be from the oil bottle
