On my 1995 blasty that I am rebuilding, the platic is in good shape, but it has a bunch of minor scratches. Anyone got any advice on how to make em dissappear?

Has anyone tried a heat gun on scratches?
When I worked at toyota as a mechanic when
We would do interior work you would get scratches
In the plastic panels. We would use a heat gun ,
The scratches will disapear becareful not get heat gun
To close plastic will melt. I will try it on my blasty and post
