piston help???

ok so its been a few years since i had the blasty apart. i cant get the piston off the rod. i cant remember really how to do it since its been so long. any help will be greatly appreciated.
p.s. sorry if this is a dumb question i havent worked on any quad motor for about 3 years now:">

There are two circlips on either side of the piston where the rod connects. Use a small tool (I use a wire tester) and pry one of the circlips out. Then push the pin through the piston and it's off.
