pipe polishing!

i have an fmf pipe on my 250r but it dosent have the crome finish. i wana make it look nice by polishing it but i kno it will rust and look like sh*t agian. does anyone have any suggestions on what i should do to keep my pipe looking great? thanksI:I

i heard that if you spray and wipe it down with WD-40 or it will stop the rust. but do it every once in a while. thats what the instructions said when i bought my pipe

Once you get it polished then you need to keep it clean. Before you go riding spray it with PAM cooking spray, WD40, or Belray 6in1 light film lub. to help keep the much from sticking and then clean it after riding. Wipe it down with WD40 or the Belray 6in1 before storing and every once in a while during a long storage. This should help.
