i am pretty sure the first year of the blaster was 1987..

all parts from 87'-02' are the same except for colors.

Definitly not an 84'. Ebay should have pretty much everything you need.

88 was the first year for the Blaster. Check Ebay or even Craigslist. Sometimes parts quads show up on Craigslist for real cheap.
