How can I tell if the oil level is low?

check the sight glass right behind the rear brake pedal, should be between the lines

before, u cant really see it while its running

or if its real dirty, its really simple to change, undo the drain bolt let it drain, fill it up with 650ml of good oil, i reccomend belray, i used to run 10w30 and wow what a difference going to belray 80w easier shifting!

my point exactly lol some people say do it before starting others say run it for a couple minutes then shut it off n check.

best bet is to drain it then replace it. just that simple

how does that help? if i changed my oil every time i checked it before going for a ride i would have to sell the blaster to pay off my oil debt would also be nice to know when your miles out in the middle of nowhere, especially when you know you got a leak but arent sure how bad

if you check it after you are running it its hard to tell because oil is all up on your gears and clutch plates.
check it after its been sitting for a while, and on a level surface!

thanks guys. It was ok cause i founr the sight glass. But i almost dumped it but instead of dumping it, i f*cked up my leg... At 6pm, but i still rode even though i cant walk on my leg. just got home and its 8:40 lol
