No spark issue

Have a 97 was riding it cut out and wouldn't start back up found out has no spark has slight spark to coil but not past that any ideas ??

What have you checked?

Did it get wet?

How did you come to find the small spark at the coil, where was the spark coming from?

Tested the coil seeing that it got power within normal specs, tested the tors which were working fine, and no it didn't get wet, wondering could it be the starter ?

I could possibly be the stator coil!

Unplug the tors brain just to see, check both coils on the ignition coil and both coils for the stator with an ohmmeter, by the specs in the manual, to ensure they are good
