Finally got my Blaster started......after about 5 million kicks....so to start off...there is no idle...like at all..I've turned different knobs and all and nothin able to keep idling...and how do I get to do less kick starting and more riding?? It takes a long time to kick start..and how would I be able to know if the oil pump is working? The light stays on or does it eventually turn off? Help very much appreciated.

Hard starting is usually a sign of bad reeds or low compression, but there are other things too..

Id start with the basics, go over all the things you need to have a running motor, a clean air filter, good plug and spark, clean carb with floats set, Compression, and a tight leak free motor.

Blaaster has a good video and sheet about leakdown test he posts. I'm sure he will put it up for you when he see this.

Good luck, and don't get frustrated. You'll get it back up and running.

the cheater light should go off. if you have oil in the tank!

you can pull the oil line off the carb for a few seconds and a little should ooze out. dont keep it off long though

for getting idle i suggest taking the tors brick off and installing the cap and idle screw
