Well, found out when i got it registered that it's a 2005, although it doesnt matter to me.
So by law, we need to have a plate 7.5" x 4"
We kept the hood from my car when we sold it (he didnt need it) so i cut a chunk out of that I:I
It mounts right to the left grab bar mounts. It pretty tough metal too, used a torch to heat and bend the corner.
The only problem i can see, is when i get a tail light, it will probably be covered... Maybe i will move it to the oil tank mounts or something, worry about that later i guess I:I
My brother said he wanted a plastic one, i think this will be just fine. I will check the stickers after the first few rides, if i have to, i will wrap packing tape around it all

It doesnt bother me... Except the $50 price tag of the little sticker they give you 8-|
