the welder he has is how they work they are cheap i have a simiular one laying around,also the welds come out looking bad cuz there is flux on it like a stick arc welder,taking a pic of a weld like that right after you do it is going to look like chit un less you clean it.I can tell you from experience with those welder they say you need to plug them directly into outlet and if not only 25ft extention with a huge extension cord i cant remember the gauge right now but it is big. just a thought
