Hi all! I'm new to this forum as well as riding ATVs. I just purchased a 2004 Blaster. It has a rebuilt engine, .020 over, stroked, ported polished, cut head, toomey exhaust, reeds, larger carb, oil injection delete, works connection shocks with remote reservoirs, lengthened swing arm.

My one question as of now is what kind of transmission fluid should I run in it?

I used to recommend Honda HRC for the tranny, but I had a bad experience with it recently

I switched over to mobile1 designed for wet clutches. Everyone has a preference in tranny fluid, just find something you like, and is readily available to you and stick with it.

I used some type of SAE 10w-40 that I got at the bike shop??
The factory Recommended transmission oil is Yamalube 4 SAE 10w-30.
