Need help

I was riding my blaster the other day and it just locked up... But it will still change in all gears but the kick start wont move i was told it could be the kick start gears whats yalls opinion

Pull the right side cover and inspect it, if all looks good do a compression test or pull head off.

Your post is confusing. You say you can move the shifter and it shifts fine? You can't shift the tranny out of either 1st or 2nd gear without a load on it.

Take off the stator cover and spin the flywheel by hand. If it moves, it's a tranny issue. If it doesn't move, it's top end.

Tore into it yesterday it was the basket that holds the clutches it had broke

2002 Yamaha Blaster 200 So I'm new to here, and maybe someone on here would know. I'm trying to get my fly wheel off to replace my stator but I cant get it to thread on with the fly wheel puller. The size I bought was M27X1.0 L.H External Thread. Idk if thats the wrong size or they have different sizes but won't work.
