I have a 2001 blaster Toro is removed all lights are removed just replaced coil cdi and about to do the stator what does the green/white wire go to don't have a connection at the cdi for it.

88-02 blasters have 4 wire stators
03-06 have 5 wire, /\ those 4, plus a green/white.
to use an 03+ 5 wire stator on an 88-02 4 wire harness, the green/wh wire has to be grounded to bare frame, that usually requires adding some wire and grounding it with the black ground at the coil

white wire with the green strip need to be grounded. only if u have a 03 -06 yamaha blaster it will fit on your harness.
or u can follow the wire to de ignition coil and cut it, then u need tu ground that side of the ignition coil.
