Need help please

Bike is hard to kick. When it does start after quite a few tries. It will run for about 30 seconds then dies and locks up back wheels. I've decided to park it and take a look. Please help.

Before you ride have you been warming it up to operating temperature?

Do you have a forged piston!

I'm not sure. Possibly I haven't had it apart at all and yes we warm it up.

Pull the header pipe off and look up the exhaust port for signs of piston/ring damage!

So that would make sense about it not starting well. Will do thanks.

The back wheels locking up has me confused. Pop's is pointing you in a good directions. I usually always relate hard starts to a reed problem, but locking up the wheels is very troublesome.

I thought I had the same problem with the boys quad before and I thought it ended up having something to do with a crank sensor. I'm not sure though. As I remember it was a pretty easy fix. He had to drain gear oil and take off right side cover I believe but that was last year. Also I wasn't listening as well as I should have been. All I heard was that'll be $300.00 and my brain turned off.
