Any one know how I can check to see if I have a faulty Run switch?

I am working on a Yamaha Moto 3 Its a 225 YTM225. Im not geting spark. Id like to see if its because the switch on the handlebars are not working. Is there a way to test? Thanks.

any switch can be bypassed you need to find out if it is a ground switch or a hot switch and connect or disconnect the wires

just connect wires going to the switch

Ring the wires with a tester or a test lamp and battery,, it will either switch or not.
