Light questions :)

I did some searching and didnt know how to find if this had been mentioned.

I would like to add a pre 2003 blaster light to a 2003 blaster. I would also like to add the 2003 blaster light (or if there is a better one?) and front end to my 1993 and 2001 blaster. That way I have more light up front and dress up all the quads to the new style etc. I like the idea of having a mounted light on handle bars and one fixed forward .

My questions are has anyone done this and if so what is involved? Can I just add the extra light and be good or is there some electrical issues (like upgrades) needed to be addressed to do it?

from the sound of it, there's guys puttin the wally world lights on there quads, and they hav'ta put smaller 25 watt bulbs in 'em, so no i dont think you can have both without putting smaller bulbs in that dont go over 55 watts between the 2, i think, or ya gotta get a "ricky stator" 75 watt stator, dont just try it and fry your stator

The stock stator puts out 55 watts.
i believe the front light is 50 watts and the tail light uses 5.
so if you want to run extra lights your gonan have to get a high powered stator.
maybe phrage will chime in on this as he knows alot about it.

Thx guys . I will look up stators than I guess to keep two 50 watt bulbs on front and rear bulb would need a stator that does at least 105 watts, unless i get two 25 watt bulbs for the two front bulbs and the rear with 5 watt (that would make 55 watts still) and see how it works...

i dont think they make a 105watt stator for a blaster but im not sure cuz ive never seen one

I see so maybe 75 watt is only as high as they go? Any good sites you would recommend that sell them?
