kicksart pedal

my kick star pedal on the end that links to the motor the screw that tightens it destroyed the grooves so i tryed to drill a larger hole to put a new screw on it but the material that the pedal is made is too hard to drill is there any other solution? many thanks

bring it to a machine shop and have them drill it out or buy a new one.
