Do you guys think that a 310 main is too rich for only a fmf pipe and boyesen carbon fiber reeds woth an open air box with a moose racing air filter? I took the quad for a ride today and it seemed to perform well. I did notice that the throttle response was slower than it was before I rejetted the bike but I also moved the needle from he 4th clip to the 3rd clip, could that be the reason for that slower response?

First of all I would only change one thing at a time.
Look at FMF web site. IIRC it called for 270-280 @ 70* maybe few holes in the box.
What does a plug chop/plug read tell you? If it isn't blubbering at full throttle it isn't too rich. Can't burn it down.
How cold is it where you are??

Well the only reason I moved the needle clip was because it wasn't in the correct position and the jet had to be changed for obvious reasons lol

I've run a 310 in these cooler winter temps on a buddies FMF piped blaster.
leave the needle in the middle, adjust airscrew for highest idle and clean revs
