You get what you pay for. That china one will be leaking in short time. Have you tried taking your petcock apart and cleaning it? You can remove it from the tank and clean the filters while it is out. Then you can remove the 2 screws on the on / off plate and clean out the petcock. There is a "wavy" washer in there to clean also that gets gunked up.
