how to remove paint from the plastics???

So yea the guy that had the raptor befor me painted the gas thank cover black but the gas tank cover is black wat could I use to remove that black paint from the cover???

laquer or paint stripper

it wont du nothing to the black plastic it will only remove the black piant????

usually good old gasoline will do it too....but i'd use laquer thinner or acetone. you can also just sand it down
