How much smoke should I see??

After rebuilding the top end my Blaster smoked a lot on the first few startups. Then it gradually went to almost nothing and I was riding it earlier and couldn't see any smoke. It still smells like a 2 stroke and doesen't really run funny but I thought it should smoke a bit.

The oil I'm using is some kind of sythetic I got from the honda house that is supposed to be low smoke but I wouldn't think that would be no smoke.

its fine...wen it says smokeless or anything then its pretty much gunna not smoke only wen you start it up and let it warm up...its fine

Thanks. I think the heavy smoke on initial startup was from all the oil I used to assemble it plus what was left in the bottom after the gas evaporated.

I watched a few vids on youtube and saw that almost every blaster had no smoke coming out of it.

I run Amsoil dominator synthetic and it only smokes a little bit when i start it. but after it warms up almost nothing

ya its not a big deal...did you spill any on the head or anything?

No I didn't spill anything. I just used a lot of oil to lube the cylinder, piston and pin.

I rode it a few hours last night and it's still doing fine.
