how much should i charge him to look at it/fix it??

and hes NOT my friend or anything its just some guy i sold my gokart to that saw my blaster while he was getting the kart and asked me (so no friend discounts lol)

Whatever the price, you need to be ready to accept any responsibility that happens to the bike. Once you become the "mechanic", the burden then falls on your shoulders.

I don't want to sound like a buzz killer, but this is something that you will need to consider.

Agreed as stated above if you dont mind having a new friend who will come to you for everything on that bike. most local shops charge anywhere from 30 to 40 an hour for diagnostic work. that is not any labor or repair. Then you go from there depending on how much you get involved in the bike. I myself most of the time wont charge very muchjust to just look it over see what the problem is. But thats just me. Its nice to have the ppl around with lots of questions anyway its someone to shoot the bull with on slow days.
