I am 14 and don't have a lot of tools (all I have is a good set of ratchets and some box end wrenches)
I have rebuilt a 4 stroke before (Honda xr80) Do you think I could rebuild a blaster?

In short yes, shouldn't be any harder than an xr80, but there are some key differences you must be aware of to be successful. Being an air cooled 2 stroke makes the blaster easy to rebuild , just make sure and read up on and follow, threads and videos found on and linked to from here.

in short yes i starting working on my own bikes and atvs when i was 11 and taught myself. i do mainly engine work now on 2 strokes as there alot easier to work on with not having timing chains etc. if you have the patience and the correct tools for removing flywheel and clutch basket its not that hard to do

+1 /\ what he said, the Ken O'Connor Racing video series for the blaster (and others), is invaluable. Lots of good tricks and secrets revealed by a True Professional.
I wouldn't have got thru my build, without alot more time effort and mistakes.
