How can i tell what year my blaster is?

How can i tell what year blaster i have without having the manual. I bought this blaster from a friend.

Get the serial number off the frame, call the local atv dealers an they will run it for you an they can tell you.

if you look at the yamaha-motor website, they tell you where the vin is located (to the right of the left wheel, on the left side of the quad, slightley under and to the left of the engine on the frame...if that makes any sense) since your bike is painted or powdered-i cant tell, you might have to sand it and then you can look online to see which number corresponds to the year of your bike. which should be the tenth digit and then youll have to look for a vin decoder online that tells you which year the digit means. i had to do the same thing
