progressively wound coils have a progressive spring rate, which I believe the banshee shock to have. coils that have a constant rate of coil have a constant spring rate, or another words they have a set weight for a giving distance of travel of compression of the spring.
progressive springs are more like duel rate shocks with out having the second coil there.
One thing is that some shock companies use different colors for spring rates, or weight ratings of the coils. This maybe a possability.
