Hey guys, guess what I did

have you adjusted the airscrew to it's highest idle point ?
besides an airleak, a misadjusted airscrew will cause the revs to hang also
start at 1.5 turns out, then 1/2 turn at a time, both directions seperately, till highest idle is acheived and it revs cleanly
allow 20 seconds between 1/2 turns to allow the engine to catch up

Yeah, you know, that Kung Fu, David carradine, Kane, walk the earth sh*t. Maybe you're to young for that show.

Running that engine without a leakdown test is just about as risky as you can get. You got some balls there bro, just hope it doesn't cost ya a rebuild!

is risky but not as risky as it gets. lol jb welding a brokin case at the seam then not leak testing is about as risky as it gets. i never hurd of a leak tester before this site, the good old fashon start it up and see if she shows signs of leaking. leak testers are the way to go, but damn if we dident have them im pretty sure some heads would expload up in here.

i had a high idel before and actually notice it was my tores system sticking causing a spike in idel and it wasent noticed through the thumb throttle cuz of how the system works. check it out
