Ok I just put on a vforce4. Reeds new chain and 14 front sprocket and t.o.r.s elmanter. Kit set air jet and float. I used 2 gaskets on reeds. And new plug got spark got great comp. Hard to kick and. The first kick started and died tried and tried. Nothing so put fuel. In breather and it pop off but nothing now lost

Leak test after working on engine. No gaskets just loctite anerobic gasket eliminator

It is a good idea to use gaskets sealed with High temp Copper RTV.

It should be left overnight to cure, and then a leak test done to make sure it is airtight.

Ok got started. But with emg. Brake on.

It runs with tank off but if I put back on and turn on won't start

Is there a wire that could be loosing continuity when you put the tank on?

How does it get fuel with the tank off?

I will have to look but I've been putting fuel in air way u think my floats off or something

Fuel in a breather, the mind boggles.

There is a place to put the fuel line on, if fuel will not get into the float bowl past the needle and seat,you need to find out why.

If you keep pouring fuel into the breather, you are going to do damage.

Fuel must not be getting into the float bowl.

Take the carb apart and give us a pic on how you put it together.

Is there a blockage in the fuel line.

Is the filter on the right way.

Is there fuel in the tank?

Crack the drain screw open to see if there is a constant dribble of fuel from the overflow.

I just put gas in the over flow right above the fuel line

Read what I said!

Turn the petcock on, crack the float bowl screw anti clockwise.

Fuel should flow from the drain hose.

If no fuel flows, there is none in the bowl, and you need to find out why.

The drain is the hose that comes out of the bottom of the bowl?

Yes on fuel. And filter because win I pull line off its got a good flow
