I have an older model frankinbike that I had running for around two months last summer. I rebuilt the lower end over winter and replaced the stator. Since then my buddy replaced the wiring harness and it doesn't have a clip to clip the throttle wires to. The bike will idle just fine then as soon as you touch the throttle it dies. I need some suggestions to help me out. Carb has been cleaned.

assuming...you mean a blaster, franken leads me to believe it's older than '03 ?

Sorry yea it's older that 03 and yes a blaster

follow the TORS delete thread above, especially unplugging the TORS brain under the hood, 3 wire plug to black box above the 5 wire CDI box
and report back

Will I have to buy anything for the delete because I try to do things the correct way to prevent future problems?

there's 2 ways to delete the tors:

just the electrical disabling of it like the link above, by disconnecting the brain, and cut out all wiring and switch at throttle and carb if you'd like.
(once the brain is unplugged, wiring/switches don't matter, it's disabled)

then there's total elimination, including that brick on top of your carb, replacing it with a regular cap, new cable, and adding an idle screw to the side of the carb, that requires a kit............

Thank that fixed my throttle problem but n bike is acting like it doesn't have any power. Is a 260 jet too small for a blaster bored 80 over with full fmf exhaust a performance Fox ignition coil and Boysen race reeds?
