Have a blaster swing arm I am trying to replace bearings in. The old ones were obviously blown apart and only the housing is left on one side, and stuck in there good. Does any have any ideas on removing it carefully or tricks up their sleeves that work well.

I just had this problem I used a dermal with a cutting bit to cut the housing on the old bearing. I then used some heat and a punch and was able to get it out. Just take your time cutting as you do not want to cut the swing arm.

I can say after examining 2 swing arms I have. This is a very over looked area on blasters. 2 carcass' had them completely decimated inside. One dude let his go so far it thinned the wall on side and warped the hole. I would say that arm is junk.

With a little work and some "PB Blaster" (no pun) all came apart.
