i looked into that once, i had a built bbk 396 outta my 71 monte carlo, and wanted to put it in a speed boat, i was told to just flip the headers upside down and weld on extensions/collectors

thats an idea.have an old dodge 4x4 i got for free and some one welded lifts on it.i have a 318 lined up with headers and a edelbrock carb.i should get some pics up.it would be a fun project

Blowers dude thats what their called and their awesome. Check out youtube speed boat clps almost any boat that rips will have em. They give it a chuging sound

Most fast river/lake boats run over-the-top headers....wet & dry.

Some of the blown motors will also use zoomies.....dry of course. Zoomies are the shorty headers pointing towards the sky. You also see them on drag cars.

A blower is a supercharger of sorts.....but it's not a header.

Dec headers does a lot of that make them for a lot of v8s for demo cars and mud trucks and custom stuff
