Head light problem.

My headlight works fine while I'm riding it until i touch the front or back brakes. When i use the brakes it instantly turns off, but turns back on when i let off the brake. Other than that it works fine, but it kind of sucks to have your headlight turn off every time you hit the brakes at night. Its on my 2003 if that makes a difference.

Maybe

You have a wire switched around at the head light or maybe the rear. The low oil wires are with the tail light, maybe they are crossed. Also they all go up into the head light, maybe they are crossed there. I screw up the two green ones all the time. Check your wiring against the diagram in the manual in the DYI section.
