how to i mess with my gearing on my blaster?
im a beginner and dont know anything on how to tune the gearing. so all the help would be appreciated

can't believe no one answered this, Changing sprockets will change your gearing as will changing rear tire sizes.
Larger rear tires=better top speed
smaller rear tires=better acceleration
bigger front sprocket(stock is 13)=more top speed
bigger rear sprocket(stock is 40)=more acceleration

The Reason why no one answered is because this is not the place for questions.. its the place for DIY's...

You Need to post questions for help in the General support section!! lol

im running 14- 40 now, but i would like a little snappier take off so im thinking i might try 13-40. anybody run 13-40?

# of teeth on rear sprocket divided by # of teeth on front sprocket..

sooo 14/40 would be a gear ratio of 2.85:1

the higher the ratio the more acceleration..

the lower the ratio more top speed..

thats the correct way to do it

all i see is a pipe, reeds and an air filter...

i relaly don't think gearing that thing 15/38 is gonna be any fun for ya dude..

youir going fomr a ratio of 2.85:1 to 2.53:1 thats a pretty good change...

maybe try 14/38 first..

you have a pipe filter and reeds, i wouldnt put that gearing on your blaster, 5th and 6th gear will be sooo slow to accelerate, go 14/39 or 14/38
you posted same thing as me.. you had to have posted while i was typing.. haha
