gauze filter vs. foam filter

I have had the opportunity to visit K&N engineering and see how they test their filters. That made me a true believer in the K&N filter design. When properly oiled, they actually filter better after they get a little dirty and flow more than the foam filters.
I use the K&N with outerwear-great combo.
Foam seems to get plugged up.

i too have a K&N with outerwear on one of my blasters and it has been great. on my other blaster i stuck with a foam filter as i did not have the money or confidence in the K&N to switch all of the quads. i now prefer the K&N over the foam filter (especially since my foam filters started to breakdown and fall apart) as the maintence is easier and i trust the sealing surface more than with the stock cage with a foam filter. however, my preferred foam filter is a twin air but i currently have a no toil in my second blaster as the local dealer had one when i needed it.
