Gaining Compression?

well i didnt expect this, dug out the blaster today to get her fired up for the first time in a while, cleaned the tank, drained the gas, cleaned the carb, cleaned the filter, did a compression test and this is what i got.

keep in mind when i did the 240 kit last summer this is what i got

Goes to show that a proper break in is a must.Iv put almost 500 miles on it.

ya i had a slight feeling id have lost a bit of compression but i guess not, Got the MSR clutch lever on there, and the short front brake lever to cant wait for it to dry up a bit so i can go for a nice ride

Talk about going crazy, it's been 50 degrees here for 3 days now and there is still a foot of snow out in the woods. It's ridiculous!

i just checked mine today. after 50 hrs of riding, it went up to 190 psi. 12 psi higher than after initial break in.
