First post and I hope this is the right section for my question. I just got my AC front bumper and was wondering what type of nut is on the back of the bolt at the top mount of the original bumper. Also having problems getting the bottom bolts free. Any tips? Anything I should know about? Kind of stupid questions but I'm in need of a little help. Thanks in advance

The nuts are welded on the frame so don't worry about them

Tips on bottom, get a 6 sided socket so you don't strip them. Use a loooong wrench, and heat up and use lube( live and heat before cranking on it !)

pb blaster and a torch to free rusted bolts/nuts

the top mount threads into a tab that already has the nut welded to the back of it, should be m8 x 1.25 bolts for all 3 bumper mounts.
if that stock nut is stripped, a longer bolt and nylock nut could be used

Welcome to the forum and just like HERP said sometimes they get welded you just need some lube and some tolerance and they would come off
