flywheel Grinding?

Help i haventgotten the hance to removemy flywheelyetbutit grinds and is hard to kick over and my flywheel gets stuckandi have to get a socket and turn it back wards. Any help. It made my bike shut off when it got stuck at dead stop.

I can tell you with almost 100% certaincy that it's not the flywheel "rubbing" unless something is stuck in it.

There is a possibility that a bolt has come loose and jamming the works, but more than likely the problem is greater than that.

And riding more after the noise started has probably caused even greater damage

Maybe a bent crankshaft? Is it OEM or aftermarket?

Maybe a little bit of piston skirt is in the way.

Something could be wrong in the flywheel. Broken magnet, something got sucked in there? Or it is internal. Either way don't ride anymore you will only make it worse.

it could be a broken magnet..that happened to me a few years ago. Just buy yourself a flywheel puller and take it off and inspect everything

Its notthepistonor crank i took thecylinderoff and checked piston and its fine.i think itmight be themagnet in the flywheel cause i got a paiceof magnet stuck to a screw drinver. Im takingitdownto get the flywheel pulled off.

i'm guessing stator bolt came loose, allowing contact with the flywheel.

If there is a little of the magnets broke off would it still be good.
