First ground up build

Been looking through my parts and stumbled on to some carbon fiber reeds (whoo hoo!) and a reed spacer. Is the reed spacer even worth putting on or is it just another spot for a leak?

Depends. i dont remember your build, but is your blaster ported at all? or a right bend pipe?
if no to both of those, i would say a waste to put on the reed spacer. although thats just my opinion

main uses for the spacers is:
1) porting for low end power
2) pipe to match low end power
3) if your carb is too big to fit otherwise

Depending on the right bend, you may not like it.

LRD has major gains in the high rpm range, but i personally wouldnt buy it for a first pipe.

trinity/ct/f7 seems to be a little lower on the rpm range for power than LRD. im basing this off of what other said

and if you do buy an LRD. make sure it is NOT the adjustable version

Okay the lrd wouldn't be my first pipe but it'd be the first I've tried on this bike I've had fmf and stock just felt both were lacking on the mid to top range

A spacer between the reed block and the cylinder will bring the power on at an earlier RPM.

Between the reed block and the carby boot at a higher RPM.

Little colt scheme change and mock up of the exhaust
