First blaster build

Well i am starting my first blaster build.I picked up a 95 blaster off a guy on CL for 200$.Thing was in pieces but wanted a project haha. Plus was easier seeing as im doing a full rebuild so didnt have to tear down as much.So far have gotten quite a few parts to add to it. Been doing alot of sanding and painting. Got the frame done this past weekend and started the A-arms/steering stem/swingarm/hubs.Got a bunch of motor parts that should be in this week!

What kind of paint did you use to do the frame

Gloss black automotive paint from napa,with rattle can aryclic clear coat,about 40$

I'm thinking of trying tractor enamel, still haven't picked a color. But still have a ways to go before I need to worrie about paint.

That would work pretty good,spray gun or rattle can?
I was gonna go with white but decided to switch frame to black at last minute with white&blue plastics
I hear ya there,damn near literally everythings gotta be replaced on mine as well lol

I'll spray it for sure. I have a few colors in mind I'm sure I'll figure it out the day I paint it.

Awesome and congrats! I usually used quality can primer, paint and clear, and came out great and cheaper than PC!

Just got new tie rods and wheel bearings in the mail,gotta finish paintin left side a arms today and should have those on today as well,and plan on getting the steering stem and wire harnesses put back on today
Was gonna get the wheel bearings in tomorrow but those are gonna have to wait,Monster Jam is in Syracuse tomorrow and thats calling my name lol

I like the tie rods! I have to get tie rod ends hope you don't mind I think I'm goin to paint my tie rods whit they look great

Ya im trying to keep all the chassis stuff black&white,figured the white would make them stand out more

Is this going to cause a problem? They seemed fine before i tore it down,being tight and everything,only temporary until i buy +3 a arms

Dents in the a arms shouldn't bother any thing. I rode a warior for to years with a bent a arm

No as long as its true and about the same distance as the other a arm it should be fine.
