does anybody know anything about this coil

yep, i had one, not sure if i noticed any difference though as i added a bunch of mods at the same time,
it does appear much larger than the stock unit, leading me to believe there is more windings in it, which will produce more voltage/stronger/hotter spark
after frying a piston, i took it off and sold it, along with the hotshot cdi, thinking maybe the added timing and voltage lead to the meltdown.
that was not the case, it was a green paper base gasket sucked in causing a massive airleak
blansheeman still runs that coil as far as i know
