I bought a 96 blaster mostly stock the clutch seems to be moving on the outside as far as linkage but the internale must not. With the clutch depressed in and being placed in gear it will stall any ideas is the clutch blown?

Sounds like the internal adjustment is not right. I just had this same problem.
Pull the right side cover off, (side where the kick start is.) You'll see the clutches, and right in the middle of the clutches, there is an adjustment. It takes a small philips head. First, go back up on your clutch handle and run the adjustment all the way in. Then, try tightening the adjustment screw inside that cover. There should be a lock nut here to break loose first (mine was missing that's why mine came out of adjustment.)
