chain install help

im haveing trouble moveing the carrier forward to put a new chain on i loosened the two bolts on the carrier an the two adjustment bolts on the back an the axle carrier wont move forward theres plenty of room for it to slide forward ive tried hitting it with a rubber mallett an it didnt budge am i overlooking something or just not trying hard enough any help is appreciated

um maybe loosen the bolts more. then try a blok of wood and a hammer. thats what i had to do. your seinger was be bolted down like that for so long that its pinching the carrier.

theyre lose enough i can turn them by hand im just gonna have to manhandle it somemore i guess i just wanted to make sure i didnt miss some bolts or something

no you didnt miss anything. maybe you need to use a sledge hammer to move it.

theres the 2 adjustment screws and 4 bolts. make sure you get em all. i was whailing on it with a hammer and wood for so long then realised i missed the 2 on the top lol

well i finaly got it it took 2 people an alot of beating on it i think the chain is a lil tight though it has a lil slack in it but not much

with my extended swinger my chain is really loose when iam not on it and then it gets really tight when i sit on it.
