chain eating the selector shaft any mods

hi im having a problem with my blaster and was wondering if anyone had solved this at all in any way ok so during my rebuild i noticed that my chain had been running on my gear selector shaft and eating into it slightly not enough to get me worried about changing it but i dont want it continuing or i will have tobut has anyone had this problem solved atall and if so how did you get it done i was thinking of some sort of chain roller and sliding it over the selector shaft

That is not supposed to happen. If you can take a picture near where is is rubbing and a little farther back on the swing arm, we can tell you if you are missing a roller somewhere. That is the only thing i can think that would cause your chain to rub anything

Probably missing lower chain roller.
Tho I don't even have one, and haven't noticed any.

Is your chain tightened correctly?
