Thanks I think this thing will finally be running tomorrow gonna start with a 300 and plug chop

Don't forget those plastic washers. You'll go nuts with jetting if you forget those and/or your main jet washer.

^forgot to hit send lol.

Now you're on to the right track. See, you have learned something here, haven't you? lol

So now that I got all this done I am moving to lower elevation I will be at about 700 to a 900 asl do I need to rejet ???

Lower elevation = larger jet.

You may need to also take into consideration temp changes as well.

Lower temp = larger jet.

Always plug chop to perform!

It works out so that it takes around 2000ft to warrant a jet change. If you are just a tad rich now than you won't be at your new elevation. What you have in there now may be close but you prob should up one to be safe

I have after market headpipe and exhaust and im getting the jug bored .060 over what do you recommend for a jet size. I bought it from a guy who had it bored .040 over with stock jets and it burned a hole in the piston. He told me that all the work was done right but when i pulled the jet it still had the stock one in it. What would you guys recommend. Oh it also has a kn filter with no lid on the air box.

If it was stock jets with an aftermarket exhaust it was WAAAY to lean. does it use the oil injection or do you pre mix?

If you do not pre mix I would start with a 300 and plug chop to confirm. If you pre mix I would start with a 310.
