Can you flip front alloys to make wider

When I did mine, I installed the valve stem opposite of the other one to help out the balance. I used a 15/32 drill bit. I installed the valve stem in backwards in the original location. You want to install the outward bead on the rim before you install the inward facing stem or it will be in the way of your tire seating on the rim lip.

Yes like demon said install the other side first or valve stem will get in your way on seating the bead. Drill a new hole,, plug the old and also try to do on oposite side to help the balance out.. Are you taking about the 03 to 06 ? If there pre 03 you should be able to just flip them, On 03 and newer the valve stem hits the caliper..

To hell with flipping a valve stem inside out and drilling a new one.Go buy a set of flush mount valve stems and you are good to go.Much sleeker, cleaner and works perfect.Cut the old valve stem off and install(bolt in) the flush mount stems.I buy them right from summit performance.
