Long story short, I stayed a weekend at busco and took my two blasters. I went to the drag strip for the first time and it was full of raptor 700s, a couple banshees , and an LT250r. I lined up with them on my fairly stock blaster(pro circuit exhaust and Circuit reeds). I beat the Suzuki but the rest had me by 2 quad lengths. We raced about 5 times and everytime was the same. I never raced before because I thought I was ALOT slower than the bigger 4strokes. So now I want to build a drag bike to beat these guys. So far I have a full CT exhaust, ported my own cylinder, .5 wiseco piston. Extended swing arm. Vforce4 cage
Is a 33mm keihin pwk a good carb to use with this setup? Also do I have to MOD anything to make it fit?

that 33mm will work good for that application.
a carb change alone isn't going to do much better against those bigger 4 pokes though.

a huge help is to get your cylinder head properly modified....... http://www.kenoconnorracing.com/

to use that carb:
you'll need a Pro Design or UPP 34mm intake

adapt the airbox to it, or a CFM airbox and Uni filter would be best.
alot of us use silicon adapters: http://www.siliconeintakes.com/intake-pipe-reducer/?osCsid=6abb9e8c0ec12d08898eacf04bb3be8e
fernco plumbing fittings will work too

jetting PWK/PJ's:
#6 slide (a must)
48 thru 52 pilot jets, tune per the airscrew/pilot DIY in the carb section
DGH or CEL needle (a must)
150 thru 160 main jets, start large and tune with plug chops
