Blaster Wont take over

im going to buy a 01 blaster and he said he had to replace some thing in the carb that lets the fuel in, he said he needed to cut them for them to fit in right but he cut them to small and now its leting to much fuel in and this means you have to sit and rev it to keep the engine running? is he telling the truth or is the some thing wrong with the bike? its runs fine once the revs are done.

it sounds like maybe he cut the reeds to small?

right that u. i got the bike this evening, everything is 100% on it and the only probelm is the reeds as you say, are stock reeds dear?
