Blaster shut off while riding and will not start

I was riding my Blaster and it started putting and shut down all of a sudden. When trying to start it, it would run and sometimes backfire but when I hit the gas, it would die. I thought to check the reeds which where fine. I had an extra set and I popped them in and it still wouldn't start. I tried another plug also. Before riding, I topped off the gas tank.. Can someone please help a brother out? Thanks in advance.

Sounds like carb problem or broken woodruff key. Did it do anything weird before the putting and shutdown

It did nothing out of the ordinary? It started fluttering, lost power, then died.

Hadn't been able to do any troubleshooting because of work but I'm on it today. Will report back

Sound like the gas cap breather tube is kinked or twisted.
